£50 admin fee to cancel

“They tried to charge me £50 fee to cancel a £110 car insurance policy, ( I’d lost my job and had to sell my car). They justified the cost, stating they had to send two emails and it was hidden away in the small print policy.
Following my formal complaint I was reimbursed the fee.. which is why I gave them two stars not one.
I found out later that the obnoxious customer service agent I spoke to could have waived the fee himself but chose NOT to.“
