Compare Energy Prices with Together Energy today

together energy

Founded in Scotland in 2016, Together Energy has grown at an impressive rate and now boasts over 60,000 domestic energy customers throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

Launched by former British Gas executive, Paul Richards, who serves as the company’s CEO, Together Energy is regularly recognised as one of the cheapest energy suppliers in the UK.

The energy startup is also committed to offering its customers the simplest bill in the energy industry, and its focus on customer service means it aims to resolve all customer queries within eight hours.

If you’re thinking of switching your energy supplier and would like to find out which energy company might offer you the best deal why not use our energy price comparison service now? It’s free to use, and you’re under no obligation to switch.

Does Together Energy supply gas as a standalone utility?

No, not as a standalone utility supply.

However, in much the same way that M and S Energy, Boost Power, Shell Energy, Ovo Energy and Igloo Energy supply gas as part of a dual fuel tariff, domestic energy customers do have the option to have their gas supplied by Together Energy if they are also switching their electricity supply to Together.

Alternatively, you could choose to have your electricity supplied by Together Energy as a standalone utility supply, and then sign up with a different firm for your gas supply.

Does Together Energy supply business customers?

No, Together Energy only supplies domestic gas and electricity, so if you’re a business energy customer and you’re looking to switch energy supplier you should use our business energy comparison service instead.

I’m currently with Together Energy but I’m thinking of switching – can Quotezone.co.uk help me to do that?

Yes, if you’re currently with Together Energy but are thinking of switching to a different energy supplier then Quotezone.co.uk’s energy comparison service can help you to compare tariffs and switch.

I’m with a different energy supplier but I’m thinking of switching to Together Energy – can Quotezone.co.uk help me to compare their prices?

Yes, Quotezone.co.uk’s energy comparison service can help you to compare gas and electricity prices from a wide range of suppliers, including Together Energy, although with some suppliers you won’t be able to switch through our site.

Depending on the particular supplier you decide to switch to you’ll either be able to complete the switch online via Quotezone.co.uk or else contact the supplier directly to make the switch, but either way you’ll be able to use our comparison service to compare tariffs first.

Does Together Energy charge exit fees?
compare together energy

If you’re on one of Together Energy’s fixed rate tariffs you’ll incur an exit fee of £30 if you decide to switch before the end of your contract. It’s also worth mentioning that the exit fee is per energy supply, so if you’re a dual fuel customer with Together Energy you’d incur a £60 fee if you wanted to switch both utilities.

Customers on one of Together Energy’s variable rate tariffs never incur an exit fee when they switch.

Is Together Energy the same company as OneSelect?

No, but Together Energy was appointed by Ofgem as the ‘supplier of last resort’ for OneSelect customers after that supplier went bust in December 2018. As a result, if you were a OneSelect customer when they went bust you will have been automatically moved to Together Energy, and will still be with Together unless you chose to switch since then.

It’s worth noting that Together Energy doesn’t impose any exit fees for OneSelect customers, so if you were moved to Together and are thinking of switching you shouldn’t face any kind of fee to switch.

Does Together Energy supply domestic energy customers throughout the UK?

Together Energy can supply domestic energy to customers throughout England, Scotland and Wales, but is currently unable to supply customers in Northern Ireland.

How much could I save on my energy bills by switching to Together Energy?

While Together Energy is often reported to be one of the cheapest suppliers in the UK, the exact amount you might be able save if you switched would be based on a wide range variables, including which supplier you’re currently with, the tariff you’re currently on, the tariff you’re planning to switch to and how much gas and electricity you typically use, so it’s difficult to predict exactly how much you could save until you use our energy comparison service to compare tariffs.
