Prima Car Insurance
Review Prima Car Insurance
Originally founded in Italy, Prima is a car insurance company who now used by over 2.6 million drivers across Europe as of 2023. Prima has designed its comprehensive policy to be easy to manage and have all the coverage you need in one place. So how does Prima stack up against other car insurance brands?
Prima’s reviews on Trustpilot
Prima has received largely positive reviews on Trustpilot with an average rating of just under 5 stars. The typical praise directed at Prima usually relate to the price, ease of process and customer service.
“Well, having had a rubbish renewal from my existing insurer, despite 19yrs no claims etc… Prima have stepped in and given me something at least realistic given the current financial pinch. The way things were going, I would have had to sell my car, but following trouble free quotation process, that’s one worry I can put behind me now for another year. Thanks Prima.“

Getting a quote was easy
“The process of getting a quote was pretty quick and it was easy to choose the extras i wanted and the voluntary excess. Saved about £50 from the renewal price of my existing insurer.
Just don’t understand why i have to get quotes every year to get a decent price. Loyalty to one brand doesn’t pay anymore.“
Trustpilot Review: 15 July 2023
Good experience
“Good experience, took me 10 minutes, done , dusted! I hope if I need to use this insurance in the unfortunate event I have bump, you won’t disappoint“

Criticism levelled at Age Co mainly addressed difficulties encountered in the claims process. It is important to note however that these criticisms were in the minority.
How much is Prima car insurance?
To put it bluntly this is relative to the individual seeking to take out a policy. As a result, Prima may be the cheapest option for you but it also may not be. This will all come down to your unique risk profile and what the insurer can do for you with your given risk profile. Prima claims to be an affordable insurance provider and many reviews seem to corroborate this. With that said however, the only way to really be sure is to simply compare multiple insurers until you find the provider who can give the best deal for you.
